New in 2019: This guided trail ride will depart from Cooper’s Lake every 30 minutes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at :15 and :45 after the hour. The trail will be a fun adventure for any Jeep. Well-treaded all-terrain tires are required to participate. The trail will offer mud, some hill climbs and various challenges for drivers of all skill levels. Opportunities to “bypass” more challenging aspects of the trail will be available so that drivers of most skill levels can participate (adventurous beginners are welcome too!).
Allow 90 to 120 minutes for the round-trip ride. Reserve your ride time during the online registration process. Only one trail ride per registered Jeep. Ride times are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Jeeps must have low range, well-treaded all-terrain tires, and front and rear tow hooks to participate.
The Army personnel who field tested the Bantam jeeps were referred to as the “Bantam Rough Riders,” as historical photos indicate. Here’s your chance to celebrate and participate in Jeep history as you and your Jeep explore our new off-site Bantam Rough Riders Trail Ride.
Note: Young children in rear-facing car seats are not permitted to ride in a Jeep on the trails. Older children can ride in the Jeep as long as they are in the proper child safety seat and/or seat belt according to Pennsylvania law.
Please refer to the Rules and Waivers page for any general or activity specific rules.
Due to weather and changing conditions, Bantam Rough Riders Trail Ride can be reclassified, routes changed or closed at ANY time during the event. No refunds will be issued.
