Will Call Registration Available Now Until June 1

We heard you!  Since so many of our Jeep enthusiasts missed our pre-registration deadline last week, we have now launched Will Call Registration.  This means you can still register for Jeep activities and guarantee your spot before the actual Festival takes place.

When you arrive at the Festival, you will need to proceed directly to the Registration Tent and get in the Will Call line where your packet will be waiting for you to grab and go.  If you are also registering for the Parade Only, you will need to pick up your parade decal at the Parade Staging Will Call line.  It will not be in your packet at Cooper’s Lake.  Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival Introduces Duck Dash as a Part of its 2021 Festivities

IMG_1652.jpg

Are you ready to get quacking?

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival certainly is. Bantam is putting its own spin on a social media trend that swept the Jeep community by storm last year. Bantam will take “Ducking”, or the concept of placing a rubber duck and a note on a fellow Jeeper’s ride, to a whole new dimension with its first Duck Dash which is set to be held on Saturday, June 12 at 6 p.m.  One of the largest Jeep-only events in the nation, the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival attracts more than 2,500 registered Jeeps and 20,000 Jeep enthusiasts to a three-day event held primarily at Cooper’s Lake Campground near Slippery Rock. The 2021 event, celebrating the Festival’s 10th anniversary, will take place June 11-13.

Military-themed rubber ducks, chosen to represent Butler’s heritage as the birthplace of the Jeep, are available for $5 in the Festival’s online store, but don’t let that ruffle your feathers. Part of the proceeds will go to local charities, including American Legion Riders, Butler Outdoor Club, Civil Air Patrol, Leadership Butler County and Slippery Rock Township Volunteer Fire Department. All of the ducks will be released down a hill and the first three numbered ducks that cross the finish line will earn their purchasers $300, $200 and $100 respectively.

The fun does not end there! The Duck Dash is only the beginning of the journey for the ducks that the Festival has named “Rocky”. After Jeepers and others who purchased a duck claim their new plastic friend and leave Bantam, Rocky’s Road Trip begins. This adventure will take Rocky throughout the land, spreading the fun, happiness, and love of Jeeps where the wind blows!

Duck owners are asked to duck another Jeeper during their travels. There is no fowl play here because those who get ducked can spread the love too. They are asked to share their Rocky adventures on social media. There are sure to be many duck tales flying around this summer!

Ducks can be purchased at the Festival’s online store at http://www.bantamjeepfestival.com/bantam-store. Ducks will also be available for purchase at the Festival. Introducing Bantam+ Where Jeepers Tell Tales!

INTRODUCING BANTAM+

Tell us your favorite Jeep stories and you could be #BantamFamous! Who doesn’t love talking about their Jeep? Where you got it, adventures you’ve taken, mods you’ve made, its name – we want to hear all about it! Simply make a short video on your phone, post it on your social pages and tag us. Then we’ll check it out! We’ll post our favorites in our Bantam+ YouTube playlist and tell other Jeep owners all about it so they can watch your Jeep tale too. Plus, your video will be featured at the 2021 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival and you’ll be entered to win a great prize package!

Each month between February and May, we’ll post four different questions. Pick your favorite question and record a :30 - :60 second video on your phone. This is meant to be super simple – no need to edit, add music or create anything special. We just want to hear from you!

Click here to view our YouTube Channel!

HERE’S HOW TO SUBMIT:

  • We know you like to be creative but we need to make sure your video meets all the silly rules on social channels. So try to remember to turn your phone sideways when you film. Don't hide behind your Jeep - we want to catch a glimpse of you too!

  • Just like when you are crawling over rocks, make sure you or whoever you grabbed off the street holds the phone slow and steady!

  • Jeep owners can talk for hours about their Jeep but we just need :30 - :60 seconds. We know it's hard, but please try!

  • Share your video on your Facebook, Instagram and/or TikTok account and tag us @Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival (Facebook), @BantamJeepFest (Instagram) or @BantamJeepFestival (TikTok). That way we can grab some popcorn and enjoy the show!

FEBRUARY VIDEO SUBMISSION QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR JEEP:

  • What do you love most about your Jeep?

  • Tell us about your favorite Jeep memory?

  • Explain how/where you got your Jeep.

  • Describe how you take it out and play with it?

WHAT IF YOUR VIDEO GETS CHOSEN?

If we choose to feature your video, it will be shared on our YouTube channel, Facebook and Instagram, PLUS the videos will be played at the 2021 Festival! All selected videos will also be entered into a drawing for a Bantam prize package! We can’t wait to hear your Jeep stories!

In addition to the our 10th Anniversary Parade & Jeep Invasion, and all of your Festival favorites, you can also look forward to a brand new trail opportunity on our newly purchased property! Don't forget to sign up for the Bantam Property Trails during your registration! Offered in 3-hour sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, these new trails (green, blue and black skill offerings) will give you a totally different experience at Bantam. We received great feedback from our Bantam 9.5 TrailFest participants and we're excited to share this fun new Jeep activity with you!

We're also excited to unveil our 2021 event t-shirts! We are offering three designs this year which can be purchased during your Jeep registration, or in our online store. The fun designs include a Commemorative shirt listing all 10 year's dates, our Festival shirt (all roads lead to Bantam), and our Jeep Parade shirt (shown below).

We are also fortunate to be able to partner with BF Goodrich again this year and will be raffling four raffles of tires (only 250 tickets sold per set). You could be driving home from Bantam with a brand new set of tires worth more than $1,000!

As a reminder, if you rolled over your registration from 2020, you don't have to register again - all of your volunteer and participant details were saved and you're all set for Bantam!
