Volunteers
It takes about 500 volunteers to make the Festival happen, and we need your help to set up, tear down and to assist with various aspects of the event. Set up will begin on Tuesday, June 4 and tear down will take place after the event on Sunday evening and on Monday, June 10. Your time and interest are very much appreciated as this event would not take place without our loyal volunteers.
When you register, you will have the chance to tell us when you are available and to request specific volunteer positions. Volunteers will receive their assignments via email in mid-May. Volunteer Kick Off meeting will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Cooper's Lake. Volunteers will meet their managers and learn more about their responsibilities, plus pick up their volunteer t-shirts.
Participating volunteers will not receive their participant packets by mail. Registration packets and volunteer bags may be picked up starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, and beginning at 7:30 a.m. each day of the Festival.
Register Your Jeep for Free by Volunteering
Participants who volunteer are required to help out two shifts (approximately 4-5 hours each). They will receive a participant waiver wrist band, FREE registration for the Jeep Playground and On-Site Trails ($60 Value).
We appreciate our volunteers and everything they do and to show our thanks for contributing their time, there will be even more savings at Bantam this year! New in 2024, Participating Volunteers will also receive 10% off of the cost of ANY other items they purchase during pre-registration. The discount also applies to 2024 Festival and Invasion t-shirts when purchased during pre-registration in the registration system (online store does not apply). This savings is only valid in the pre-registration system until Friday, May 3.
Participating volunteers receive priority access to the On-site Trails and Playground all three days. Volunteers wearing the 2024 volunteer shirt can drive their registered Jeep to the Trail or Playground headquarters tent and staff will get the volunteer out on the trails or playground ASAP. Please avoid peak times on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
These volunteers receive a t-shirt (two shirts if you split your shifts between two or more days) and two raffle tickets. Volunteer shifts may not be split between two people. The same person must volunteer both shifts.
If You Want to Simply Lend a Hand and Help
If you are not registering a Jeep, you will receive one volunteer t-shirt and a participant wristband for yourself. You will also receive a spectator wristband for one guest to attend one day. That way you can enjoy the Festival with someone else on a different day other than your scheduled shift. To receive the participant wristband you may check in any day at the volunteer tent, even if you are volunteering the next day. You must obtain your guest’s wristband at the Volunteer tent on the same day they are attending. If volunteering more than one day, you will receive one extra t-shirt. You will also receive two raffle tickets. You may sign up for one or more shifts.
